This is a fake white G-shock that someone actually bought for $451 on rakuten. They also sold a fake red Bape for $240. It's a shame because the seller's other items are authentic. A good fake can apparently fool even an experienced Japanese G-shock vendor.

Educate yourself: a real 6900 model has the day BETWEEN the two small eyes, NOT directly under the middle eye. There are other minor clues, but the day is the most easy to spot.

@kung-fusion, do all JDM G-Shock manuals look like that? Or instead it is one of the clues that we are looking at a fake? Scary how the fakers even took the time to make a matching box and the two BAPE stuff on the left of the photo...

It's much easier to print some card and paper than it is fake a watch.... so papers are never any guarantee of a genuine watch.

The problem is (as usual with 6900 fakes), the watch. As mentioned above, the module digits are in the wrong place - most notably the two day letters.

I'm sorry kung-fusion but I just don't buy it. A fake 6900 should never fool an experienced vendor. I feel sorry for the poor idiots who purchase these. The box looks pretty good quality from the photo but it's obvious to see the day location. When I see these on eBay, and someone is actually buying them, I contact the seller, asking for clear photos before I bid (which I normally receive proving the counterfeit), then place a ludicrous bid to make sure I win and raise a case against the seller. I'm not saying anyone should do this but simply reporting the item does not work. I only hope this will raise the profile slightly when someone's line manager sees that they have spent so much time dealing with an unresolved issue involving someone hawking a fake.

Well, the options are this:

-The seller knowingly sold 2 fakes at inflated prices, but otherwise sells only genuine items (if you look at his other G-shocks, they are all real)
-The seller made a mistake and listed 2 fakes thinking they were genuine

Either way, the buyer got screwed. It's ridiculous how many fake watches are being made, and what upsets me the most is that people might start to develop the idea that G-shocks are poorly made junk after experiencing these fakes and thinking they bought the real deal.
