Fake on ebay???
Saw this earlier

the lines on the bezel do not mark up with the knotches, the numbers on the bezel dont look right, and the luminous markers have silver surrounds which didnt come till the recent model... cant see any waves on the dial either... what do u guys reckon? warn the buyer??

I dont know whether you can warn buyers now - access to user names appears to be blocked.
AFAIK, all we can now do is report, report, report.
I've reported this listing, and a recently placed speedmaster listing this morning. The seller even declares its not real!

This one looks awful! i suppose at a glance if you hadnt been on here and looked at the high def pictures and seen one in real life, the picture shows box, booklets etc and to some people this would trick them into thinking its definately genuine. i think the seller actually thinks its real though in this case :-sits just amazing that they churn out any old fake sh*t and people snap them up as quick as can be!

As enthusiasts in a subject or just a 'brand' - it is in our interests to enable buyers to make an informed decision where possible - whether that be through answering queries on a forum or reporting fakes on internet sites.

seems like a pretty bad fake, i didn't even see any waves on the dial. bezel numbers look wrong.
Sold for 500 odd quid, after phoning, and reporting online twice. i knew they wouldnt do sweet FA about it...
Could you post the link to the fake speedmaster - so that we can see the current state of affairs for those also.
Might feel bad if it was a decent fake but if one can't recognize that's bogus...come on!
