Fake Speedmasters on Ebay

If nothing else you can get a good laugh from this like i did. I reported both, but by the nature of the beast im sure someone else on here will match me up. They arent even good fakes! :-d

Tip: with that last one the first pic is not the actual watch in the auction. You can tell so (and confirm its a fake) by seeing that the markers at 3, 6, and 9 are shorter than the others which, as we all know, is a trademark of either a Speedmaster automatic, or a fake!:-d

eBay does not care about fakes or counterfeits!!

eBay couldn't give a rat's @$$ about people getting screwed buying fakes and counterfeits!! During the past three months or so eBay has been FLOODED with counterfeit 1989 San Francisco Giants Will Clark Mitchell And Ness jerseys!! The "GIANTS" logo on the front IS NOT a logo that the Giants have ever used. (To the untrained eye... it looks fine.) The "CLARK 22" on the back of the jersey is NOT in the correct style or font either. I've reported AT LEAST TEN of these jerseys to eBay as being fake or counterfeit. Did they respond to me? No. Did they pull the jerseys? No. All eBay cares about is making money. If I remember correctly I seem to recall an article that I read about Louis Vuitton or some company along those lines was suing eBay for allowing counterfeit goods to be sold on their website. Not sure how the outcome of the lawsuit went. IF Omega, Rolex, Mitchell and Ness, Oakley, etc... would all get together and sue eBay over counterfeit goods, maybe that'll help put a small damper on counterfeiting?

eBay as a company is on a downhill slide, they're not as popular as they used to be. So, judging by that, I figure they're going to be more lax as to what gets listed, they don't care if you bought a fake. Which is a shame.

I disagree. They have always been this way. Every so often they raise the percentage of sale prices they take as fees (which might drive a few away, but not too many), but their attitude towards responding to feedback from customers regarding counterfeits hasn't changed at all.
