There’s a lot to like about these watches. Their dials are awesome but the standout to me is the pointer date. I’ve always associated pointer dates with Oris, and it’s awesome to see a micro using that complication.

I also prefer the new Farers to the direction Oris has gone with their latest pointer date models. All around, very cool!

It’s a very different watch in many ways, but here’s my Oris pointer date as a point of comparison.

I love this Oris, one of my favorite dials. I just got done posting how much I like bracelets and wear them a vast majority of the time. That’s the only reason I didn’t buy that Oris last year. The bracelet in my humble opinion was a bit too polished and no on-the-fly adjustment, which I need between winters and summers here.

It’s truly beautiful on a leather band though, no question.
