So while I was away for a couple months something happened. When were the dial and hands changed on the Neptune? I've seen this on multiple dial color variations now, and even the Meranom site has different hands/dials in the preview images now.

The second generation SE's have the new dial and hands, along with the signed crown and numbered back. The dial has thicker indices probably for better lume performance, this might also be true for the hands.

I noticed that as well, but I couldn't tell you when.

Looks like a cost cutting measure to me, as the new ones remind me of these Chinese hands that I've used a few times

Them be some green hands my friend.

So essentially Neptune v1.5. Makes sense though as lume performance was an issue with v1 Neptunes.
