Finally got my PAW1500T, here's my initial thoughts.

the PAW1500T lost the "slim-ness" of PAW1300T. The watch felt more chucky and big. The extra thickness of the bracelet (especially at the lugs) is noticiable. For my wrist size, I would say the 1300T fit slightly better.

If you have small wrist, you might want to consider "try before you buy" for comfort and fit.

Over time, I grew to like the dial layout of the PAW1500T (e.g. hr:min:sec in one line, better use of real estate for information.). And the rotating compass bezel reminds me of the older (vintage) Pathfinders (which I like a lot). I like the overall look of 1500T better than the 1300T. It has a much better "tool" look and it means business.

the WR200m and the rotating compass bezel is my main reason for getting the 1500 over the 1300. tidegraph and moonphase are pluses, but I don't really need those features. Since I just got the watch, I need more time to get the know the watch better.

It sucks that Casio took away the 24hr CDT and replace it with 60 min only. My way of dealing with it would be to set a alarm at the end of my time period and use the STW to tell much the elasped time.

This is my $0.005 (0.5 cent), since I didn't have the watch for long enough for my $0.02 (2 cent).

Mansrow, it ain't that huge. I tried the resin one on in a shop recently and it was a large watch of course, but still a nice comfy fit. It didn't feel too bulky either, and I have pretty slim wrists (17.5cm).

Damn Casio for not putting in a 24h CDT, it's the only bugbear I have with this model. o|o|o|o|o|o|o| :-(

Great job man. Look good on you. but the 1500 is just not for me. My 1300T will have to suffice. b-):-d

lol, why to do things easy if one can also complicate them....;-)

congratulations to your PAW1500, its a nice looking watch for sure, but I still prefer the design, layout and functions of the PAW1300 (which will hopefully arrive soon). nevertheless enjoy, would you care to give a little information about the accuracy of the ABC functions?

regards, holger

Noob here, finally a triple sensor I can use for scuba! Is the glass scratch proof? That would definitely be a dealbreaker foe me coz I tend to bang up my watches a lot.

I'm a big guy. I love that it's big so it doesn't look tiny in my wrist.

Would be perfect if it had a depth gauge! I hope Casio comes up with it soon!

The PAW 1300 and Paw1500 are both great watches. I have had the 1500 on the resin strap for about a week. I have an 8+ inch wrist and have no problems with any of the Pathfinders--including the PAG80. The 1500 is a little larger than the 1300, but not excessively so. It certainly has a greater "heft" than the 1300. I really like the layout of the info on the dial of the 1500--easier to read at a glance than the 1300. I have grown to really like the "moon phase" indicator. Being inland, I don't use the tide graph that much, but it is still a nice feature. For me, the countdown timer issue is a "non-issue" because I rarely use it. The stopwatch is more important for myself. Both watches are great watches and both look very good. The 1500 is a big watch, but not excessively so--so go for it if you are so inclined!:-!

Can I ask owners how the links of the bracelet are held (for adjustment)- i.e. split pin/pin & collar/spring bars ?

My trigger finger is getting VERY itchy...:)

Only thing holding me back is I'm concerned about the size..don't think I'd find one to try in my neck of the woods.

Sweet pick up my friend! Without the tide and moon graph it would be just another Protrek. Pretty cool features for an already feature packed watch. Can't wait to receive my titan.

Don't know about the 1500 exactly, but the band looks very similar to the 1300T. I think it has the pin/collar, at least that is what my recollection is about mine.
