As some of you lucky out there, I'm the fortunate owner of a '80s Vostok given as a present by my aunt few months ago.
i've thought for two months about selling it, but felt guilty because it has been a present and I would have taken care of delivery and stuff for only a few euros gain...so after pondering the possibilities, I decided to mod it in order to meet my tastes.
After a few weeks, some delay in deliveries and deliveries mishap, I finally assembled my new creature, to life!
It cost me less than 100 Euros, the medium price of a komandirskie on some web sellers (not the cheapest though), and hours of fun trying to decide wich bezel and straps suited the best together.
I can't help saying that there are no many other watches brand that will give you the same experience, and I must appraise Vostok for actually supporting mod parts producers.
I only wanted to share my experience with you and maybe give some advice for you new-modders.
