Hi,
I have just added the longitude/latitude data to my project Fisherman. The sunrise data seems to be right but its giving a moon-up of 23.30 and moon-down of 11.05 which isn't right. The moon age is also correct.
Any ideas why this is so - I'm in the UK.

Can anyone enlighten me (not that I can't tell night but be nice for it to be right).

Thanks Toby

Hi Toby,

I'm not at home atm so can't check my manual (posting off my phone) but I believe the moon data on the fisherman relates to the point where the moon is at its highest point (apogee?) and lowest point, rather than moon rise/set.

Hi Tobyd,

I believe Rusty is right. Moon Up means the moon at the highest point. The highest point of the moon is more important than the moon rise and set. You need the Moon Up time to calculate the Lunitidal Interval. You can also find the appropriate moon data on Time and Date.com.

Cheers,

Sjors
