Picked up this awesome 14k Lovary watch with a 25 jewel automatic movement today at a flea market for a few bucks! I only bought it because it was a running automatic watch and didn't realize it was gold until I examined it later. I found a cool vintage band in my junk for it. It's generally in great shape although some of the varnish is peeling up on the right side of the dial near the "5".

Anyone familiar with this company? I saw a few online that had 25 jewels that had a PUW 1461 movement. I also saw online that the PUW 1461 was from 1969-1971. The style looked older to me.. I was thinking more early 1960s. The other thing is that it has a Hamilton crown. I don't know if there is any relationship with Hamilton and Lovary. I could just swap the crown and keep it for a future Hamilton.

Terrific find. A very nice watch- and GOLD too! I like the case with the slim bezel enlarging the dial profile. First time I've heard of Lovary. Nice pickens.
