For sale or trade I have an original blue dial Glycine F104 with the GL224 automatic movement Big Pilot Watch. The watch is an interpretation of the pilot watches of yesteryears that were derived from pocket watches. As such it sports a large 48mm case with 22mm straps. The lugs are genius, they are made so that they can swing up and down making the watch and the strap hug the wrist better you can wear this on the wrist directly or over a coat sleeve. Plus it is yet another feature that reminds one of the origin of pilot watches.
The watch is large but thin, about 10mm thick in fact, so while it occupy quite a bit or real estate on the wrist, it does not protrude and in fact could easily be tucked under a shirt sleeve. The crystal is sapphire and the caseback is also see through and one can see the good looking upgraded movement.
The watch runs flawlessly and smoothly, I wore it a few times and it kept time within few seconds a day. The watch has been worn very little and overall it looks in excellent condition with only light superficial wear on the case, no dents or scratches. I wore it on the included quality bracelet that is long enough to fit about a 8 1/2" wrist. An original Glycine leather strap is also included.
One can use the bracelet, a leather strap or even a Nato type strap and the change from one to another is a breeze because of the drilled through lugs. This model is pretty rare and does not come up often at all. The original box and warranty papers are also included.
There are many so styled watches but I think this is one of the best looking pilot watches around, I have had this for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am now wanting to try new and different styles and brands so I am offering this to another pilot watch lover.
I would like to offer this for$375 $349 shipped in the USA. I am open to offers and to trades especially for a Dekla Turbulenz 42mm V1 or V4. But I am open to others so if you have something you want to offer go right ahead. I will consider anything and will answer everyone.
