I may regret this but I'm listing for sale my Stowa Flieger Original. Something of a grail, the watch has a Unitas 6497 movement which has been modified to have a central seconds hand. This watch is larger than the standard Stowa Flieger at 41mm in diameter.

I purchased the watch in the Stowa Advent sale in 2016. It was delivered in April 2017 so the watch remains under Stowa warranty. Only a handful of watches were sold at this time as collectors' pieces. I received an email from Stowa (photographed below) stating that the cases for these watches were brushed by Jorg Schauer himself.

When you pull out the crown to set the time, the seconds hand keeps on running until it reaches 12 and then stops automatically which is a very useful feature. The numerals and indices on the dial are fully lumed. The hands are thermally blued. They appear black most of the time but shine bright blue when they catch the light. The case has the traditional engraving on the side.

The watch is fully functional and unmarked apart from a tiny hairline mark under one of the lugs from a strap change (this can only be seen under very close examination). The watch is mounted on a brown Stowa riveted strap which is unworn.

The watch comes with the Stowa warranty booklet, the metal Stowa case and the outer cardboard box. I'll also include the original Stowa invoice and a print out of the email photographed below which states that the case was brushed by Jorg.

I'm based in the UK and have bought, sold and traded through WUS many times before. Please see my feedback thread here:

I don't really know how to price the watch since they rarely come up for sale and are not in production. The last sale I could find on WUS was in March 2018 of one of the limited edition run of 80 which was priced at 4600 USD.

Using that as a reference, I'm looking for £2850 GBP. Shipping at cost and Paypal fees to be added on top if you wish to pay using that method.

Overseas buyers must have plenty of solid feedback. I insure my watches using Parcelpro so can ship internationally without any problems.

Happy to meet and deal face to face - I'm based near Belfast and occasionally travel to London.

Please get in touch if you're interested.
