Messed up original post. Does anyone else's bracelet have a slight resistance when bending the links backwards? They will go but slight resistance. I'll show what I mean below.

My bracelet does the same thing.

Hi thanks for the reply. Is this common on all watches or just tag?
Not all watches and not all tags.
I'm guessing it's to do with the tolerance between each of the links? Which model do you have? This is mine.

You ever tried other straps on it? My understanding is that it is 19mm lugs
20mm and I've never taken it off the bracelet.
It should have some "articulation" and that does not look out of the ordinary to me based on your picture.
19.5mm

seriously
Cheers thanks, given it's only .5mm less than 20mm I would have thought 20mm should fit fine then. Thank you

It was a hard thing to try and search for online so that's why I came to the forum. I mean in reality it's never going to effect how watch wears. I was just curious about it.
It depends entirely on the strap. A rubber strap works great because it can squish a bit. A thick leather may give u trouble.

Tried a seiko bracelet while out today that would not move backwards at all. Not sure which is more sign of a well made bracelet one that won't fold backawards or one that will.

Would you order 19mm or 20mm if you were putting a strap on it? Probably rubber
Two things:

- if its 19.5mm then go 20mm so you don't have gaps + rubber and leather squeeze nicely.

- bracelets, like everything, vary widely in production quality and design. There are many common designs for watch bracelets and they do not all behave the same way.

Hi thanks for the response. I tried another in the shop a couple of days after I brought this one and it was the same. Guess I'm trying to find out if it's a sign of good or poor quality or neither. I noticed your commented on my other post I'm trying to delete that as I'm getting loads of silly comments. Any ideas on how I get it removed? Thank you

Just ignore it. It's like puppies, eventually they'll get bored and wander off.
Order a 20mm rubber strap and use 19mm spring bars. Trust me
three things. First. The pin in the link is either backwards, or there is some weird other pin inside that didn't come with the bracelet. second. The link bending, really depends on exactly how you do it. You can fold the links, but you have to hold them just right. I sometimes have a set of links I play with like a fidget toy lol. third. Report your own post and ask the mods to delete it.
