Anyone have experience with this bracelet?
Im looking at this for my Ball Trainmaster watch.
I own a Forstner beads of rice bracelet for a different watch, and it’s nice, but I don’t like the clasp.
Is the clasp any better on this bullet bracelet?

I posted this in the straps and bracelet sub form, but not getting much action.
Thanks for any info.

I recently got one for my 1966 Astronaut. It's a good bracelet, like my other Forstners. I'm not a clasp snob, but as you can see in photos, the Bullet does have a push button clasp, which some may consider an upgrade over plain snap clasps. Not a big win for me, as the push button style is more secure but at the cost of increasing the size & weight of the clasp.

I don't have the Bullet bracelets, but do have a couple of other Forstner's.

Their clasps are ok, but IMHO, not as good as the bracelet itself. Seems almost like they were an afterthought?

Not bad in terms of construction, butthey are thicker and don't always seat well on my wrist, so I too would be interested in hearing what Cleger has to say about this one.

Well I didn’t think I was a clasp snob, but maybe I am. The one on my Forstner beads of rice bracelet is like cheesy sheet metal and half the time it takes several try’s to get it to snap closed.

I’m also looking at this Strapcode bracelet, any one have experience with these?

Thanks, I’m pretty happy with the bracelet.
This a quickly become one of my favorite watches.
Im looking at having the tritium tubes replaced as these are fairly dim (The watch was made in 2012).
I found a place In Los Angles that can to the work and they say they do not have to to send it to Switzerland, which saves lots of time.

I put a Bullet on a Longines Railroad that I never wore - I liked the dial but just never wore the watch. Now I wear it more regularly w/ it on the bracelet. It's definitely not the quality of an OEM bracelet, but I wouldn't say it feels cheap (the clasp or the bracelet itself), all just ok/decent. But for the money, seems fair. I'd pay an extra hundred or two for better quality. Still, all told, I'm happy.
