Hi,

I have a red Fortis Spacematic 455, which I'd like to know more about. I've emailed Fortis for more information on the watch and they kindly sent me a copy of a page from their 75th anniversary catalogue from 1987 but were unable to tell me it's value or any other information.

The text from the catalogue reads:

Automatik, Uhrwerk/Metallcontainer mit Glasboden, Mineralglas, wasserdicht 50 Meter, Leder-/Kunststoffbander zum Wechsein

Ubrigens: die SPACEMATIC-Uhren konnen Sie mit allen LOGO-Herrenbandern (Seite 30/31) tragen.

I also found the watch mentioned on a German forum here where it is suggested that it is a 'Cal Fortis 2528 Harley Ronda'.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could tell me any more about this watch. Thanks!

Don't know anything about that model, but micro-rotor watches aren't that common.

I normaly do not like plastic watches but i really like yours especially the micro rotor.If it were mine and i was trying to determine its value i would start checking the internet for any simular watches.good luck

Thankyou to you both for your input. It certainly is a beautiful piece of engineering. However, it isn't something that I'd wear so I hope I can find someone who's interested in it.
