I was told by a friend to go visit this place called the Fountain Pen Hospital. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. The people there are so friendly that you want to spend money on something!

This would rate a serious second in damage to the check book, only surpassed by a trip to the watch store.

Very nice.

Must remember NOT to go there when in NY next time..........

Be cautious! Fine writing instruments are highly addictive! They also match up well with watches. Through recent American history, lets say from 1900 to 2000, the two items of jewelery for men were a fine fountain pen and a fine timepiece, whether a pocket watch or a wristwatch. Steve and Terry, as well as Ed Fingerman at FPH are very special people.

I have the fountain pen version of precisely that Caran d'Ache pen (I'm assuming) you bought. It is one of my favorites, and the one that gets the most comments.
