Viceroy Autavia

I've been doing pretty well with Omega Fridays, but I picked up this one a few weeks ago, and it wound up on my wrist this morning. Get it? "Wound up." (ugh)

In 1972, Heuer offered this Autavia model as a promotion with (of all things) Viceroy cigarettes.

Photo borrowed from OnTheDash.

Heuer was offering a similar model for $200, but with a Viceroy "carton end flap," one could acquire a "Viceroy" Autavia for $88. I've been told that the promotion has expired.

Super happy, double plus fun weekends for all!

In honor of 454gun's new 3592.50, I'm wearing mine today:

No doubt about it, the 863 is a gorgeous movement. [Isn't it, Bob (rbt)? ;-) ]
