Hi all,

Just got hold of a frogman addict, what a great watch !!!!!!

I got it off ebay, it came boxed with the original receipt and warranty, and the watch is in near new condition, with everything working perfect.

Just one question ? The button for the light swich when depressed makes a little clicking sound.

Is this normal for a froggie ???

The only reason I ask, is I have a couple of different G shocks in my collection, and none of their light buttons make a clicking sound when pressed.

Any help from experianced Froggie owners is greatly appreiciated.

Cheers for the advice.

The contacts might be dirty, the watch is still under warranty so should be able to get it sorted.

Hi David,

It sounds like the buton is flipped over the lip that makes contact. Do have to press the button deep? I once had a Raysman with that problem, but my Casio service centre didn't find the problem, I found it later myself.

On the pic below you see left as it should look, and right as the buttom slips over the metal lip.

It also could be your watch is just new and the clicks disappear after a some use.

Cheers,

Sjors

Thanks for t he info and diagram, you have been really helpful.

The clicking has stopped now, so might just have been some dirt or the watch being new.

Thanks again:) :) :)
