Frogman MIRB -- Pictures!

The Frogman GW-200MS just came in today.

The rusty colored LCD and brass-colored eye-ring are a great and unusual combination. The color represents the tough G-Shock spirit. It looks pretty tool-like on the wrist, but also goes well with a sweater and long-sleeve dress shirt (yes, I tried it out in the closet ).

I think this is one of the few resin-based G-Shocks that can be worn with both casual and dress clothes... probably because it's a large and unsymmetrical watch that is technically interesting and unapologetically weird. I can tell that I'll be wearing this with attitude. b-)

I can't believe I didn't get it sooner (after seeing it on my brother's wrist). If you don't already have one and have been thinking about it, I recommend getting your hands on one before they dry up on the market.

Here are some quick and dirty pictures, standing in the kitchen with a point-and-shoot.

I absolutely love it; definitely a keeper with lots of wrist time.

Thanks for looking!

Congrats! Its an awesome watch for sure.
Nicely done mate. b-) |>

I don't mean to get personal, but what size are your wrists?

Also, do you find the colour is accurately represented in your pics, or is it a need to see it in person kinda thingy?
I love mine, I wear a suit daily and wear mine and agree that it looks fine, it somehow doesn't look out of place.

I have considered a 5600 or similar for work but when I wear my MIRB Frogman with my suit I can't see the point.

Enjoy the watch...

Not personal at all (unless you ask for my shoe size). My wrist is slightly smaller than 6.5 inches. (Also, in these pictures, I'm wearing the watch loose.)

On my computer monitor, the color in the picture is pretty close to the actual color of the watch in real life. But in natural lighting (not under camera flash, as in these pictures), the color of the MIRB is slightly darker.
I like the watch and i like the Jagermeister :-d
The watch is on my wrist and the Jagermeister is in the fridge.
Congrats on the new Frogman! Thanks for sharing the pictures. :-!
congrats, and good pics :)
Sweet pick up! Congratulations and enjoy it! :-!
Very nice :-!
Very cool! I can't wait for mine to arrive :-!

You won't be disappointed.

How long did your watch take? (Mine was shipped on Monday, so I'll need a little more patience, esp. since German customs usually delay a package for 1-2 weeks :-()

I ordered mine from a different place from the recent link in the "Good Deal Watches-Bay" thread. (I ordered mine from Jomashop before I saw the thread.) Hopefully you'll get yours soon.

I've been looking at mine every few minutes all day long! Someone asked me "what the hell is that" today. He had to try it on, too.
Congratulations! I agree the brass ring , display color and resin color are a really great combination. One that is quite timeless and sure to look good for years.

Enjoy....:-!

I think this forum single-handedly cleaned out Watches-Bay of all their MIRB Frogs...
