Up for sale is the very desirable 1961 Longines Conquest in Solid 18K Rose Gold, and gold sunburst dial with the Very Rare 12:00 Date Window variation. Unfortunately this does not get the wrist time it deserves anymore.
Looking for $3550 + Shipping via Payapl from established members or traders. Offers considered, but no trades at this time please
The amazing dial is in excellent condition with no scratches or discoloring to the sunburst rose gold. All marking including the most outer small black tic marks are in perfect condition. Applied Gold markers have some very minor smudges caught in the facets. Case is in decent condition with no dents. Has rounding of corners and some scuffs from almost 60 years of use. Crown is heavily worn through its gold cap. Acrylic crystal is scratch free. Please see pictures for complete description.
Solid 14K gold band is not original to the watch, but it is period correct, and fits the watch's style almost perfectly. It is fitted for a 6.25 - 6.70" sized wrist including it's one adjustment in the clasp. Band has some dented rings by the clasp.
Watch has the Longines Caliber 291 automatic movement. Just Serviced in January 2019 and will ship with service receipt. Service center has a few month of warranty left. The Caliber 291 is not a modern movement by any means and in my automatic watch winder it keeps time well for its age, but looses about 3-4 minutes per week.
No (original) box or (original) paperwork
