In 1962, Bulova introduced a new line of watches under the "Caravelle" brand name. This model, reference 665-1 is seldom seen and features an attractive design that is similar to the Rolex Explorer and Tudor Ranger of the same time period. It has a stunning original matte black 6-9-12 dial with "fat-font" tritium hour markers, original tritium hands with matching patina, original center sweeping-seconds hand and original rotating bezel. The crystal has a cyclops built on the interior, so the crystal itself is flush.
