What makes this Concord Saratoga (15.A7.237 /1) so rare, is that it is not only a Chronograph but a Tachymeter as well.

While there are endless Quartz Saratogas, and a some that are Automatics, the Chronograph-Tachymeter is very rare indeed. In fact, most watch retailers and jewelers don't even realize this model exists.

This rare watch also runs the Lemania LWO 283 which provides a date cyclops for magnification on the dial, rather than on the crystal where it would stick out and be subject to damage (as well as somewhat of an eyesore).

In exceptional condition, it's one of my very favorite watches and only for sale as I've been substantially downsizing my collection over the past several years.

Full service (a complete overhaul) was performed last year by the manufacturer's service center, so this watch not only looks nearly perfect, it runs that way as well, and will for years to come.

In addition to being an Automatic/Chronograph/Tachymeter this watch also has solid 18K gold accents (these are not plated or filled) on the bezel and also on the bracelet so they will last a lifetime and beyond.

Don't try to compare this to a quartz Saratoga, they are much smaller with 29mm to 32mm cases and typically with 18mm wide bracelets. This is a 46mm tall x 38.50mm wide case on a 20mm bracelet and weighs a hefty 139.80 grams... it is a substantial watch and a work of art.

This is an exceptional find and perfect for someone who want's a quality timepiece that will hold it's value and, at the same time, isn't what everyone else is wearing.

A solid gold version with a black dial recently on eBay for just under $7K and another like it is also for sale. A year ago one like this was for sale for $1,000 and it was in poor condition, with the chronograph disclosed as not functioning a one of the gold pushers missing (which would be impossible to source). There's another on the Internet for sale at $1,495 in rough shape if you're looking for a more "used" version.

Price is $1,995 on eBay plus shipping or $200 discount to established WUS members direct with wire transfer only.
