- Seiko Watch SKX007K, specs:
- Model: SKX007K1
- Type: Divers
- Metal: Stainless Steel
- Movement: Automatic
- Caliber: 7S26B
- Stainless steel case.
- Unidirection bezel.
- 200m water resistant.
- Screw in crown and caseback.
- Case diameter: 43mm
- Original Case thickness: 13mm (with the Hardlex - it is maybe a few mm more with the domed sapphire crystal)
It has the following mods installed by a Seiko AD watchmaker in Germany
- crystal: SKX Diver Super Dome Conversion kit by Noah Fuller: sapphire crystal with blue AR coating and black gasket
- bezel: 60 minutes "classic" sloped diver bezel insert (it has the same curvature as crystal, very similar to the Rolex DSSD)
[ Note: this conversion kit consisting of crystal and bezel insert to a domed sapphire crystal and matching bezel insert is currently not available to purchase anywhere AFAIK ]
- Dial: SKX171K dial
- Chapter ring: Brushed Aluminum Ring 7s26 Chapter, by Noah Fuller
- Hands: Tri-colour Plongeur Hands (Yobokies)
[ Note: The Dome kit and the chapter ring are by Noah Fuller, they were purchased shortly before he passed over to the other side... R.I.P. ]
Additionally, included in the sale are the following straps
- Original Z22 Strap (including spring bars)
- Jubilee bracelet (including spring bars)
- Seiko Super Oyster 22mm Bracelet strap (TYPE IIa-scuba divers INCL 4-hole 22-20mm Sport clasp) with solid end links, made by wjean - this uses the thicker spring bars (included).
- Black hirsch Buffalo strap (installed)
- Goldbrown Hirsch Liberty strap (including spring bars)

- Original SKX007K flat Hardlex crystal (slightly scratched)

Also supplied is the Seiko watch case the watch came in (see picture).
Notes
The watch has been modded, regulated and WR-tested to 200m by a Seiko AD watchmaker in Germany (Mr. Gerstenkorn of Juwelier Stein in Bardowick) in March 2011.
I would rate the condition of the package about 95%. There are no visible marks or scratches on the sapphire crystal. There are wear marks on the case and the bezel (one tiny dip near the 20), but nothing that could not be polished out otherwise. The Super Oyster bracelet and the Jubilee bracelet have the typical desk diver marks, and the straps are only lighty worn.
The accuracy is really good since it has been regulated by the Seiko AD watchmaker. I have never tested it properly, but it does not loose or gain significantly. I would say it is fast about 3-5 sec/ day, but this is a guess!
I used this watch as a daily wearer in the office and changed to another watch when I got home. I always put the watch to rest on the side with the crown facing up.
