The featured watch describe is a Swiss made Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Gran'Sport 295.8.59 Chronograph, polished Stainless Steel solid art deco tonneau shaped three-body case measuring 28 x 44mm diameter. Fixed steel stepped bezel and lugs. Automatic movement, power reserve up to ± 44 hours. Displays a guilloche Dark Grey in a tiled pattern dial with White/Silver tritium-coated Arabic Numerals markers, and applied triangular dart indexes on a plain reserve. lozenge hands are tritium-coated, indexes, in-field railway minute track. trapezoid Date Window at 6 o'clock, central red sweep second hand, chronograph start/stop display at 5 o'clock. Chronograph Function on Reverse Side, Centered Sweep Second Hand. The reverse dial is a circular brick guilloche pattern, and it has retrograde 60 and 30-minute register ring subsidiary dials, 30 minute Retrograde Indicator. The chronograph on the reverse side has rectangular pushbuttons, and a push/pull winding crown. Scratch resistant Sapphire crystal, solid caseback. Rubber Strap with Deployant Buckle. This version of the classic reversible watch Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso in the Art Deco style of the 1930s.."flip-over" two-sided dials, brushed satin finished case.. Sapphire crystal, Grey dial, Arabic numerals, hands and strong reliable Caliber. The Edition with the distinction of having the reversible matte face. In its self its a Rare model. Even being as thin as the case is still allows the watch to flip around in true Reverso style. It looks and feels great on the wrist. I love the looks I’m so enthusiastic about JLC sport watches. It has a really nice elegant feel to it. I would term it "dignified." The style is sophisticated and demure - with simple various decorative elements but nothing too showy and very functional. It will attract a lot of looks without trying. They did a good job with this collection...

JLC... Reverso origin of the case's architectural "shape", ... Manual swiveling, sliding turnable and pivotable for 180 degrees in the case... Form follows function or in this "case" you could say that necessity is the mother of invention. Jaeger-LeCoultre is big in Polo. The original Reverso was made for British Polo players in the 1931.. They needed a 'Sports Watch'... A common occurrence when in play was the crystals on their watches would scratch or even shatter while swinging a mallet on horse back..To address this problem they designed a case by where the wearer could flip the display and all of its parts over inside the case. The Reverso design and it's functionality was to become the solution. After all!.. they could not put it in their pocket, there wasn't any...Hence A "Sports Watch"...
