This is a classic Vostok/Boctok/Wostok watch from the 1970’s utilizing the Vostok 2214 movement. I originally bought this off an eBay seller from Russia about a year ago when I began collecting watches. I later realized that I did not prefer to wear gold watches and it has not seen much wrist-time.
It was stated by the original seller that it was professionally serviced but you know how that goes. I have no idea if that was actually done. In the time that I have owned it I have removed the movement from the case to clean up the dust on the inside of the crystal and used and air jet to reduce any dust I have seen. I adjusted the regulator lever in the face-up position so that it keeps better time. The beat error is not adjustable in this movement. It does keep decent time for a 45 +/- year old watch. I have never had any issues with it.
