Here is what I and many others consider the quintessential Datejust. This piece is from 1989 which if you know about Rolex models and the 80's you know that this was the ceramic Daytona back in the day. Everyone wanted a two-toned Datejust and this particular example has the rare black dial. It also has gold indices and hands to compliment the gold fluted bezel and crown.

This watch wears extremely well and is sized for my 7.5" wrist. This is such a great size at 36mm because if you have smaller wrists you're totally fine. If you have larger wrists you're also totally fine because this wears very close to a 38mm. Many people consider the Datejust to be the perfect one watch collection because this does so many things so well. Between the size, screw down crown, and gold accents you can wear this just about anywhere.

The sale will be for the watch by itself and will be extremely carefully packaged. Keep in mind that this watch is over 30 years old and I don't know the service history. As of my ownership the watch is running extremely well and had no issues. I am mainly looking for a straight sale with only a few trade exceptions. I would consider trading up plus cash for a Rolex Explorer I or II. Or trading down for a 2503.52 39mm Railmaster or a 2538.20 GMT "Great White" with cash coming my way.

Grab this classic for $4600 (PayPal) shipped CONUS

Please ask questions or request different pics since all sales are final. I don't accept returns/exchanges/refunds and have plenty of feedback as a buyer/seller/trader if needed. I also try to ship the same day as payment or the next business day.
