Since I'm new to the watch-collecting world, I'm hoping someone can help out with info on comparing these great-looking pieces to the 'Monster' series on steel bracelet that I've been eyeing for right at $150 shipped. What makes the Samurai worth the extra $45? Thanks for any guidance as I look to spend Christmas money!

Both are great watches,I have both. The Samurai has a stronger, larger case and better movement. It is thicker also. Both are great,it depends on which one strikes you better.

just to clarify. the titanium samurais have got 7s25 (derived from 7s26) in them. good old stainless ones have got 7s35 (derived from 7s36) in them. it is virtually the same movement anyway.

and anyhow... how does the queue look like? i am very interested!

7S25 21 jewels date only
7S26 21 jewels day and date
7S35 23 jewel date only
7S36 23 jewels day and date
Titanium Samurai 7S25
SS Samurai 7S35
now that really clarifies it, but all are basicly the same
