For sale is my Seiko SBDB009, the Spring Drive Tuna. This was my first spring drive watch, and it probably will not be my last. That sweep is sooooooo smoooooth! Can get hypontized just watching it. Unfortunately, the watch is too big for my tastes. I pretty much knew that it would be, but I wanted to try out the spring drive. It's been +0-.5 seconds over the past week. Ironically, even though it is a little bigger than stainless steel Tunas, it wears lighter and is more comfortable due to the titanium case and shroud. On the wrist, with that exclusive rubber strap (IMO the best rubber strap Seiko makes), it wears better than any other Tuna I've owned. The crystal is sapphire and clean. The case is clean (but of course protected by the shroud), the bezel is clean. The shroud does not have scratches, but has minor nicks hear and there due to normal wear. The pictures are representative of the wear, and are much less noticeable IRL than in the magnified pictures. The strap shows signs of wear in that the rubber is a little shiny and smooth in areas of wear, and the buckle has indented the strap at the setting where it was worn most. However, on the wrist, the wear hardly shows, and wear or no wear, it is a very comfortable strap. Comes with box and manual. Selling for $2000 via Paypal or Venmo, shipped in the US. Will consider international sales, but you will have to cover the international shipping cost.
