With patents dating to 1964, the caribbean 1000 is recognized as the first 1000 meter dive watch. I have seen examples of this watch with dials branded by Ollech & Wajs, Aquadive, Jaquet Droz, Phillip Watch and many others. Caribbean 1000s were available with a variety of dial colors
including silver, orange, yellow and blue, with bezels available in the same colors. Three different user-changeable bezel styles
were available, elapsed time, decompression time and 12 hour GMT.
The logo of the Jenny Watch Co. (pronounced
YANNI) is the fish design seen on the back of the
watch case. The Jenny family currently owns the
Doxa brand name, so you'll see the logo on
modern Doxa dive watches also.

This is an earlier version of this watch, probably
from the '60s. The early models had smaller dial
indices and used a lower-case c in the caribbean
signature. The caseback is also signed, "Philip Watch, Swiss Made, Caribbean Trible-Safe, Super Waterresistant, Automatic, Incabloc, Full Steel, Brev.+ Dem. 17531/68, 18350/68 715, 5292/68." The original blue dial is in excellent condition, and is signed, "Philip Watch, Hi-Swing, Automatic, Caribbean 1500, 1000 Meters (3300 Fts.), Swiss Made T."

Selling Head only, Paypal can do, will shipped worldwide $1100. Benthos and Omega, Yellow & Silver Caribbean not for sale.
