Straight from the family's drawer - is this nicely patina'd Roamer Stingray Roto 44 in great original condition.
My dad-in-law wore this in the 70s/80s until it's retired and replaced by a bunch of faceless Quartz watches. Don't worry though I've corrected his sinful ways this year by buying him a Seiko 5 SNXS b-)
The watch / movement is running normally, however crown is stuck and I'm reluctant to force it open for fear of damaging crown / thread. Could use a service / overhaul naturally and crystal could have a good session with Polywatch!
Everything is in original condition and has not been polished, altered, repaired in any way.
It's on its original Roamer S/S bracelet. Tinny and rattly feel included for free!
Dimension is 34.5mm x 39.8mm.
Calibre MST 471.
Originally (when new), this watch is also waterproof to 50m.
In use, this is very similar dimension / feel wise to my Nomos Orion 35mm, albeit Nomos has a longer lug-to-lug at 44mm thanks to its very long lugs.
