This is a 1950s Croton Alert by Nivida Grenchen, with a Manual winding A. Schild 1475 badged for Nivada Grenchen. Serviced Feb 2021, an amazing movement used in brands like jaeger lecoultre. Screw down outer ring holds the caseback and alarm post in place. Caseback signed Croton Alert Nivada Grenchen, Waterproof, Stainless Steel, Incabloc. 52 25830. Original stunning condition dial with creamy radium aged luminous hour indicators at 3, 6, 9, and 12. Signed “Swiss” at 6 O’Clock, sword hands, heat blued second and alarm hands that still shine over 60 years later! Case is 33mm Stainless steel with fancy/sexy lugs, 34mm with the twin crowns. The case and lugs are super sharp!
