For sale is a lovely vintage Gruen Precision Autowind with a day and date complication. Silver dial with classy gold applied indices and an arabic 6, 9 and 12. The cyclops for the date is integrated into the underside of the crystal, one of the really nice features of the watch. Another point of interest is the "Ra SWISS Ra" mark at the bottom of the dial, indicative of the radium filled hands, and a mark that you don't see all that much. The Felsa 4009 automatic movement runs like a champ, as I had the watch serviced around the beginning of 2017 (note that the photos of movement and inside of case back were taken prior to servicing). One thing to note is that, being a vintage watch, there is no quick set for the day or date, although you can advance the date by moving the time back from 9PM to midnight. My suggestion is to either wear the watch all the time, put it on a winder (if you already have one) or just don't bother with setting day/date.

The gold plating has seen better days but is still intact for the most part. The lugs have some minor damage from one of the infamous twist-o-flex bracelets that was installed on the watch when I rescued (err.... purchased) it. However, otherwise it is pretty clean. The acrylic crystal has a few scratches, but nothing objectionable. The original crown was chewed up and exceedingly difficult to operate, so I had it replaced when the watch was serviced.

Watch is fitted to a brown leather Hadley Roma strap that has been worn very sparingly.
