Up for sale my rare Eterna Tartarugone / Tartaruga with caliber 852. This watch is from 1936/1937.

This watch belongs to the "Tartaruga / Tartarugone" series because of their turtle-shaped watch case. These watches are known mostly for the Longines Majetek but which was also produced by Lemania and Eterna.
There were used by the Czech army pilots.

This version is quite rare because of his "Clamshell" case. To open the case you need to remove 4 screws at the base of lugs.

The dial has no more radium on the indexes but the patina is really amazing.

Diameter is 37mm without the crown.
Note a "plot" scractch (like a punch) on the side of case at 11 o'clock.

The 852 caliber is working and keep resonable time but I do not know iits serviced history. Sold as is. No warrenty on a perfect accuracy.

The watch will be sold without the bracelet.

The watch is in Paris.

Asking price: 1700 € or best offer. I can ship world wide. Payment by wirebank or eventually Paypal.
