FS: Vintage Serviced Girard Perregaux Chrono Diver Valjoux 726 Valjoux 72 Daytona Style 20 ATM

On sale here is an EXTREMELY RARE 1960s Girard-Perregaux diver chronograph featuring a Valjoux 726 (part of the Valjoux 72 family) movement!
Unlike the older Valjoux 72 that beats at 18000vph, the Valjoux 726 beats at 21600vph, making this movement extremely accurate!
This chronograph is housed in a Daytona style 20 ATM stainless steel case with a rotating bezel. It was manufactured in the mid 1960s. Case is 39mm wide not including the crown.
This watch is one of the earliest example of a modern style diver chronograph by GP, featuring a rotating bezel and 12-hour chronograph with 3 registers.

This watch is in great condition considering it is 50 years old! Timekeeping is accurate and the chronograph functions as expected. The watch was serviced in June 2015 by Total Watch Repair (details printed on the receipt as pictured here) in California. The watchmaker also took photos of the movement, which as you can see are very clean. You can see clearly in the movement picture "726" printed, describing the reference number. Since its service, it was only worn on special occasions such as weddings, so as you can see in the pictures, it's in great cosmetic condition as well. I'm the second owner. The original owner's father purchased this in the 1960s in the US, and sold this to me several years ago upon his passing.
