A rarely seen model is this Hamilton “Carlisle” from the late 1930’s. This model is
immediately recognizable by the complete “6” index as opposed to a simple marker
or partial numeral. A really nice example with 14 YGF case that measures 43mm x
29mm including the crown. The case has a tiny bit of wear on the very tips of the bottom
of the lugs and some thinning of yellow color in some areas of the top of the case, but
not very noticeable. A brand new acrylic crystal has been fitted, so it is flawless. The
original dial is in very good condition with light signs of age. The 17-jewel caliber 980
movement is running well and keeping good time, but service history is unknown. Was
found with a vintage stretch band that is in good condition and has been left on the
watch. This is truly a rare find in un-restored condition and a “must have” for serious
Hamilton collectors. I’m calling condition easily TZ-87% and is reasonably priced at
$240 OBRO delivered ConUS via USPS Priority Mail with Paypal fees included. Chase
Quick-Pay is also welcome. PM or email: gppou(at)att(dot)net
