up for sale is the Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special
45mm case, 14,25mm thick, Cal. 3000 (Sellita 300 base).
Zenith Type 20 in my opinion is a hugely underappreciated line and this original version is my favorite iteration.
It wears a lot easier than IWC Big Pilot but still offers great presence. The dial is clean, legible and offers great lume.
I prefer this clean stainless steel case over the aged steel iterations, and I really like the simple matte black dial.
I honestly also prefer this Sellita based movement for easier serviceability。
My Zenith is in great condition and only has very very minimal signs of wear.
The service history is unknown, but it's keeping excellent time---almost 0 sec/day to my observation.
The original strap is worn but I paired it with a crazy horse strap from Delugs that's very similar in style.
The watch comes with the outer box (a bit beat up due to the age), the presentation box, the booklet and the warranty card (stamped Nov. 2014)
$2900 shipped, US sale only. Will entertain trade offers. Feel free to try me.
