Yes, I saw those pictures, thank you for that. If I buy new watch I would like to see it from every angle possible

I just found Sjors article on the 50 Gs blog. Many pictures, good source of information, and there is also a couple sentences about you Tribe(didn't know you've had 7800)Of course - no inconvenience!

The G-7800B-1 has the best negative display I have seen on any G-Shock or any other digital watch. The contrast is adjustable. Here's a pic in bright sunlight:

Only showing this as a direct side by side comparison of two other models. The negative display is fairly difficult to read unless your home is lit up like a used car lot...
