G's are known for their practicality and of course toughness. I actually need my G to help me time things for work. I help make custom foot insoles/orthotics. Here is my DW 9052 at work:



My 9052 counting down the minutes until the wooden foot mould will be finished being milled.



Clearer pic of the 9052 in countdown mode.



Another use for my trusty 9052, showing me how many minutes the plaster of paris mixture has been drying for.

The current time shown in both modes is a very practical feature |>|>|>!

I also have a Mudman G9000-8V that I use for work, but he's currently on annual leave!:-d

No pics of my G's at work but that's where they get worn the most. Like you G-SAR I use the CDT and STW at work 98% of the time. It's great to be able to time a new job and know when a current job ends at the time :-!.
