No one makes the bezel for this model. As this model was not well known or popular, parts are out of stock everywhere for a long time. Swapping the module might be the only solution like you described.Hi man, i got a g2200, with the same bezel, and i can't found one to replace it, i think there is some website from Malasya who sell bezel from vintage models but i can't recall if they got that particular one.
My friend you should bought the dw9052, not only the bezel, the idea was you swap the modules. The 9052 bezel it is not compatible with that resin case, to make it fit you must modify the resin case with sand paper or abrasive file and the put original dw9052 buttons( just from the sides, the light button fit well), so it's easier just swap the module. If you can get an used dw9052 without bezel ( there are very cheap) you can finish the job.I bought the bezel for dw 9502 but it seems the side button are bigger in the dw 9502, so I have to buy the buttons too. Let's see what happens. View attachment 18312479
Looking great, but if you remove the lettering paint from the crystal you can read the hour more confortable, i always use a cotton swab with alcohol. And you can change the button ligth and put the original from your gl 140, so you can get more from the original one. This is what my GL 140 look like now.
It is not perfect but it's ok for me. And the most important thing is, my wife is very happy when she saw it. I brings back many memories.
Thank you all.
Recently i rescue a gl 140 cousin ( gl 100), using a dw9052 parts( versatile model) like in other times i kept the original resin case, the wings and the light button:where are u from Gerry ? i have same problem, currently, i'm looking second hand 9052 fullset for my GL-140 on tokopedia. Wish me luck![]()
