Hi man, i got a g2200, with the same bezel, and i can't found one to replace it, i think there is some website from Malasya who sell bezel from vintage models but i can't recall if they got that particular one, the solution i found was purchase a dw9052 ( very cheap model) and swap the module. The 9052 got some letters and numbers printed inside the crystal so it is necesary remove them with a cotton swap and alcohol, the final result is no lettering on the crystal to indicate the seconds on the graphics but that doesn't bother me. I think the module of your gshock it is compatible with a 9052 resin case. I hope that help you, here some pics:

No one makes the bezel for this model. As this model was not well known or popular, parts are out of stock everywhere for a long time. Swapping the module might be the only solution like you described.

zero chance of that. as it has sentimental value, id glue it back together (on the case, taking the bezel off to do it will likely be disastrous) and have it as a desk clock or something, then ask your wife for a new one to carry on the tradition, or just get a new one yourself. by new, i mean new new of a diff. model, finding this same model in good nick could be rather expensive, if you can find one and theres no guarantee its not going to end up exactly the same as this one.
meanwhile, heres a bit of insult to injury, my gl120 😜

I bought the bezel for dw 9502 but it seems the side button are bigger in the dw 9502, so I have to buy the buttons too. Let's see what happens. View attachment 18312479
My friend you should bought the dw9052, not only the bezel, the idea was you swap the modules. The 9052 bezel it is not compatible with that resin case, to make it fit you must modify the resin case with sand paper or abrasive file and the put original dw9052 buttons( just from the sides, the light button fit well), so it's easier just swap the module. If you can get an used dw9052 without bezel ( there are very cheap) you can finish the job.

This is what my GL 140 look like now.
It is not perfect but it's ok for me. And the most important thing is, my wife is very happy when she saw it. I brings back many memories.
Thank you all.
Looking great, but if you remove the lettering paint from the crystal you can read the hour more confortable, i always use a cotton swab with alcohol. And you can change the button ligth and put the original from your gl 140, so you can get more from the original one.
