Hi

Quick question. I have a g-shock GW3000BD and was wondering if anyone has swapped the metal strap for a resin one. Wondering as all the resin straps available online has an extra piece on it which makes me think it won't fit.

As highlighted in the above picture. The watch already has that piece connected to the main body and is not connected to the strap.

Am I right in thinking this? If I'm not then how do I remove that part to make the resin strap fit?

maybe your bracelet has the "extra" piece, the resin straps come in straight forward - NO EXTRA PIECES, i believe
look at your G, and try to unscrew those screw-bars to see
