The strap has an annoying problem. The little plastic holder that secures the end of the band is too deep. The end of band isn't held down tightly to the band itself, it's too loose - does that make sense?

Is this a common problem with G-Shocks?

Are there third party companies that make better bands?

Thanks!

One possible way to fix the problem would be to pick up some rubber o-rings for cheap in your local hardware store. You could put one on your strap, or even two (around both sides of your loose keeper) and it could be a quick and cheap fix to your problem.

Looking at the G2800, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a non-casio replacement strap for it that would fit though... :-x

I got the o-ring idea here and use it on all my Gs...its perfect for a loose or long strap, and nearly invisible. The G straps are almost all too long for my wrist, and this is a practical fix for about a $1.50.
