Hey fellas,

I recently went on a holiday to the US and bought a G shock, ( complete with compass ) and knowing about all the magnetic variations between the hemispheres and such i thought id cross the calibration bridge when i got home ( Australia ) , but does anyone have a simple explanation on how to perform a calibration? The manual is just plain confusing and makes little sense to me as far as i can tell the only way to get it to point to mag north is to use another compass to point north and then roughly dial the angle that you are to east or west? The Accuracy would be questionable at best.. if i'm going to be using this out in the bush id like it right, for now i'm sticking to my traser until i can get it correct, suggestions?

Cheers guys
