@Rocket1991 will need to have a look, been mostly focusing on Garmin & Huawei. Doubt the Samsung will have the runtime of the previous two brands. Huawei is in the lead for my needs as both models are premium watches in hardened aero-space Ti & bracelet with complementary features. Garmin is a strong second having the Solar option and a wider range.

Still not 100% on getting a Smartwatch, however is looking ever more likely as they become less reliant on a Smartphone and some having now reasonable runtimes between charges.
Q-6
Samsung has full Google and AI and it frankly the most advanced when it comes to fitness tracking. Not like you need all these bells and whistles. GW classic came with sapphire in last gen and GW ultra came with titanium sapphire.
These just different strokes when it comes to OS thus all other things.
Garmin getting google maps and i think eventually it all converge. You can't have full OS features and battery life.
Samsung is not really shining lately to put politely. Garmin had few bumps with latest gen too. Looks like it was ironed out though.
When i really try to explain it it goes into very significant difference between OS and capabilities. And you either need it or not.
Like answering your phone. Garmin has it but not even near price of Samsung.
Do you need it for real sports or hiking longest hikes or just day hikes and fitness?
And in the end there is no one do it really all smartwatch.
Plus individual needs.
Since my focus among primary requirements is sport tracking, bracelet looks like no go in my eyes. Sure it whatever for notifications.
