Nice, there have been a lot of models around those times, dials came in red, silver, gold and black, have also seen a green one. Movement probably a UMF 24-32. 130.000.000 of movements (24-24 - 24.42) have been produced. For more info check the ranfft database.

What period do these watches date from? The Western-style numerals and the English text on the back are unexpected.

The plane is a sailplane?

"Tropicalized" has a special meaning with G10 watches, IIRC ... maybe something to do with keeping humidity out, or specially watertight seals to prevent sweat from eating into the case/seals?

Unless you made a typo, 130 000 000 units means export.

I would imagine that some tropical Socialist/Communist countries (Cuba, Nicaragua, African countries, Vietnam etc would be the market.

OP! The White Dot on the outside of the caseback. What is underneath?
