Noob question, but I don't know how to disable the beeping alarm on my gshock. It goes off at midnight and then every five minutes or so. Is there any way to disable the alarms completely?

You have set the snooze alarm to on. Just use the mode button to go to the Alarm mode, scroll (normally using the lower right button) through the alarms until you find the snooze alarm 'SNZ' then turn it off (normally the upper right button does this). There should be an indicator on the display that turns on and off dependent on whether the alarm is set to on or off.
