To which forum should Tauchmeister, Aeromatic, & Junkers belong?

There are loads of references referring to them as "German Watches"
online, so some clarification may be needed for newbies like me to avoid confusion later. I know that some use Chinese movements, such as Aeromatic, some Junkers use Poljot Russian movements. I defer to your superior knowledge

Well, robred, you are tap dancing in a minefield with that one. I’m surprised no one else has chimed in, so I’ll give you my humble opinion. I think most members of this forum would say Tauchmeister and Aeromatic belong on the Affordable Watches forum. The primary reason is that, as you stated, Tauchmeister and Aeromatic use inexpensive, and most would say, lower-quality Asian movements. And they are primarily Internet brands (low price--quick sale--move on to the next fad). They have no stake in the quality, durability and aesthetic of the older German brands or the newer brands staking out territory based on those traditions. Junkers probably belongs on the German Watches forum, even though they do use Russian movements, because of the history of the company producing watches in Germany. I know that will spark some debate as well. It’s a grey area.
