How difficult is it to get a SARB serviced? I am considering purchasing the SARB035 and I am curious whether or not it has to be sent to Japan to get serviced or if it can be done here in the U.S.

Any decent watchmaker(not a jeweller) should be able to do a complete service on the SARB or any other Seiko with the same movements.
Chances are you won't need it to be service for at least ten years if not longer :)

Mine would be sent to Jay at MCWW if I were too nervous about shipping it overseas. I would ship it to Jake in Hong Kong in real life though ;-).
