Hi All,

I've been thinking about a regulator watch for a while now, and my recent thread (https://www.watchuseek.com/f2/manual-wind-open-back-watches-1022160-1.html) features a few that are very nice.

My only question is, right now it takes me about 20 seconds to work out what time it is. After a while, does it become natural and instantaneous? Or is it always a bit of a "right this hand is the hours and its at 10, this hand is the minutes and its the... no wait its the seconds... or is it?"

Or am I just a bit slow?

I have two regulators (Chronoswiss and Chr.Ward) which I use from time to time but except for the first two or three glances in the morning I find no difficulty at all in reading the time quickly.

I found that during the night on the contrary it becomes very very difficult. The Chr.Ward has a good lume but while the minutes are clear enough the hours are nearly impssible to read.
