A bad redial, if not a complete and utter fake.

I can only support that. At least the movement looks real - it is a Cal. GP25 (the first two digits of the "serial" number denote the calibre code in GP watches):

bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Girard-Perregaux 25 (AS 1525)

...which is based on the Adolf Schild Cal. AS 1525:

However, Ranfft notes that the bridge layout in the GP watches is slightly different to that in the original AS calibre - and you have the AS layout, not the GP one!!! So, much as though the inscription looks genuine, unless I (and then probably Ranfft) have overlooked something, the movement is also a good looking fake. I'd avoid the whole thing like the plague.
