Can anyone recommend a good place to get a Quartz Tissot serviced? Mine is about 10 years old and just stopped running for about half a day last week. It started running again when I woke up the next morning and I just had the battery replaced to make sure it isn't a battery issue. When I had it replaced, they said it was low, but not totally out of juice. I am going to monitor the watch to make sure it doesn't stop again, but if it does, I'll need to have it serviced.

I don't want to pay a huge amount to have it worked on, obviously. One place I went to, which I believe is an authorized Tissot dealer, said they would send it out to their guy and a basic cleaning of the movement would run $95. Would that solve the problem? Or does it sound like there is potentially a bigger problem with the movement?

Don't worry. If it happens again, deal with it. Otherwise assume the battery fixed it.
