1st takeway - it's amazing how the indices pick up every possible bit of light. I thought it would be the blue/black dial that kept me glancing down, but instead its been the subtle shimmer of every tiny movement on the different facets (and the hands!). Also, man is that spring drive second hand cool!

Thanks for all the insights and knowledge I gained, both through posts, and reading others, as I searched for every minute detail along the way to selection.

Yes, GS indices are insane. They have ‘fire’ almost like a diamond does. Congrats and enjoy! Also, smart to go pre-owned. The first scratch always hurts. Better to let someone else handle that pain for you!

I've also really enjoyed the applied GS logo which is so thin that it took me a few days to be certain it was applied above the printed gothic text!

Now that I look, I'm just annoyed I didn't polish it up for the pic!
